ADVOCACY
KLFS Corp was founded as a result of advocacy efforts by members of Rehoboth Temple Church of Christ (RTC). RTC was established in 1925 by Bishop Robert C. Lawson and is currently pastored by Apostle Bradford Berry. Rehoboth Temple has a history of community engagement in the King-Lincoln District. KLFS Corp represents the next level of community advocacy by RTC.
GRASSROOTS FOCUS
Several institutions and non-profits currently serve the King-Lincoln District. Many of them are active partners that have been responsible for raising substantial capital to help revitalize the district. Although KLFS Corp has an interest in capital projects, it’s primary focus is dedicated to creating synergy within the district through daily resident engagement. KLFS Corp’s aim is for existing residents to see the community as a place of hope where services and supports are available. The organization wants community members to identify it as a place to engage whether they’re in crisis or interested in donating time and resources.
